Valentine’s Day Outfit Guide
Valentine’s Day is the perfect opportunity to show off your more feminine and romantic clothing pieces and create a head-to-toe pink and floral outfit, but ou don’t have to stick with the clichés to be a show-stopper during the most romantic day of the year! Inspired by the biggest fashion bloggers and vloggers, we created various outfit inspirations for you – which one is your favourite?
Leopard & Leather
For more casual dates (such as a lunch or cinema), choose something playful to match your beige coat! Any print from polka dots and stripes to zebra or leopard prints can work if they are paired with two or three other colors from the same color palette – for this outfit with the brown bag and skirt, we would definitely go for a beige or red vintage trench coat!
Lace & Peach
For dressier events like an evening in a theatre or candle-lit dinner, a classic A-line dress can is one of the best choices. The design of this dress works wonders on anybody and instantly creates a feminine shape, while the lace and the peachy-pink shade complements both cold and warm skin undertones, so you just can’t really go wrong with it. Match it up with a sultry lace-up sandal (to avoid looking too cute), an oversized or knitted scarf and of course a Burberry trench coat, and you are ready to go.
Oversized & Accessorized
Altough it might seem to be a very elegant outfit as well, this one is more on the casual and comfortable side. Because of the oversized, T-shirt dress design, this basic peach dress can be worn to anywhere, but with the gorgeous statement accessories (the cap toe heels, the floppy hat and the chunky gold necklace), this outfit turned from an everyday outfit to a perfect Valentine’s Day look.
Looking for something more exciting?
Spice up any look with a pop of color and instead of the traditional beige Burberry trench coat, choose a red, pink or dark blue vintage trench coat, which looks just as stunning (especially for Valentine’s Day) as the beige one!
Go-to Valentine’s Day Makeup
For this year’s Valentine’s Day, ditch the heavy smokey eyes or the dark lips and try out a naturally glowy and healthy makeup with a hint of highlighter on the cheekbones and the bridge of your nose, a few coats of your favourite dramatic mascara and a pink, tinted lip balm!
